A poem shared as plain text in a chat gets skimmed and lost. The same two lines on a card get read, saved and forwarded. The Kobita Card Maker turns Bengali poem lines into a finished card: pick an excerpt from the library or paste lines of your own, choose a mood, and download a PNG or JPG at exactly the size you picked, square 1080 x 1080 or vertical 1080 x 1920.
The library holds 146 excerpts from 12 poets, all public domain: the maker only carries poets who died in 1965 or earlier, which is why you will find Tagore, Jibanananda Das, Michael Madhusudan Dutt, Sukumar Ray and Sukanta Bhattacharya, and why Nazrul is not there. Browse by theme (nature, love, devotion, sorrow, river, joy, patriotism, death, mother) or paste your own lines instead. The poet is credited on every card, and the card carries a small kobitaghar.com line at the foot.
How to make your first card
- Pick an excerpt from the library, or paste your own lines.
- Choose a mood theme: Sad, Love, Hope or Classic, or put the words over a photo of yours.
- Pick the size: square for posts, vertical for stories and lock screens.
- Set the text size and download the PNG or JPG.
Everything is made in your browser; your photo and your words never leave the device. Two exports a day are free on each connection; after that, an email unlocks unlimited exports for the rest of the day. The idea is not new here: our guide to poem image sharing for WhatsApp covers the apps people use for this, and the sad kobita wallpaper guide covers the lock screen version. Prefer the poem moving? The Recitation Reel Maker at BanglaAbritti turns a recitation into a vertical video. Start with two lines you already love: open the Kobita Card Maker.
